Who Are We?
We are a non-denominational, autonomous church with a plurality of elders as our only organization leadership.
We Believe
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. (The Trinity)
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority for determining all doctrinal truths.
Salvation is a gift from God, not as a result of our good works or of any human effort. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
To be a Christian; you must hear the Word, believe it, confess that you believe Christ is the Son of God, repent of your sins, be baptized (by immersion) and live the Christian life as defined in Scripture beginning in the book of Acts in the New Testament.
The Church is the Body of Christ, where every Christian is an integral part of the Church.
Attendance is mandatory on every first day of the week (Sunday) for communion, to remember the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ by taking the bread (His Body) and the fruit of the vine. (His Blood)
Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time and the dead in Christ will rise first. Christians, still alive, will meet the Lord in the air and be with Him forever. (final judgment)
Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all baptized believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
After living one life on earth, unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to hell where they will be eternally tormented with the devil and the fallen angels.
In the world today, many believe that certain sins in the Bible are not applicable. We believe that all sins in the New Testament was sin then, is now and will be in the future, including same sex marriages, practicing homosexuals/lesbians; abortion; suicide; compromising the Word of God to grow attendance and any violation of God's instruction given within the new covenant law. However, God in His infinite wisdom has given a definite, specific, and continual path through Christ's sacrifice for the sinner in all of us to be redeemed, sanctified, and justified resulting in a true child of His.
In our Sunday morning worship service we have a cappella singing, praying, reading Scripture, communion, (Lord's Supper) and the minister's message.
Come visit and talk to our elders about the status of your soul.
